2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Special Awards

Friday, February 13, 2009

As a kid I remember listening to races on the radio with my dad. Of course, this was back when only a handful of races were televised and MRN was the only means of getting up-to-date information on what was going on in the race. At the end of the race, after all the interviews and such, the MRN announcer would usually list who won what award. I always wondered about these awards. So, if you have always been a little curious as to what these awards were for, I am posting each award with a brief summary for the 2009 season.
